The Aviation and Aerospace Law Society of Nigeria (ALSON) is a multidisciplinary, non-political, and not-for-profit organization established to promote the development of aviation and aerospace law in Nigeria.Â
ALSON serves as a collaborative platform for legal professionals, regulators, policymakers, and scholars committed to advancing airspace governance, policy innovation, and professional excellence within Nigeria’s growing aviation sector.

Organizational Objectives
To sensitize and create public awareness on the application of aviation laws in Nigeria, most especially as it affects the rights and obligations of the traveling public (including their rights and obligations inside Airports and Aircrafts)
To collaborate and partner with Aviation Stakeholders (Airlines, Legal Practitioners, Aviation Institutions, Aviation Professionals, Judges etc) in respect of the Acquisition of Aircraft, Application of Municipal Aviation Laws, and International Protocols, Conventions etc. which are domesticated in Nigeria.
To introduce and promote the teaching of Aviation Law in Nigerian Universities.
At the continental level, to champion the actualization of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) in collaboration with the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC)
